International Association of Emergency Managers
The International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM), which has 5,000+ members in 58 countries, is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to promoting the goals of saving lives and protecting property during emergencies and disasters. Three of the GCC consultants are IAEM Certified Emergency Managers.
IACLEA is an association that advances public safety for educational institutions by providing educational resources, advocacy, and professional development services.
Emergency Management Accreditation Program
The Emergency Management Assessment Program (EMAP), an independent non-profit organization, is a standard-based voluntary assessment and peer review accreditation process for government programs responsible for coordinating prevention, mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery activities for natural and human-caused disasters. Accreditation is based on compliance with collaboratively developed national standards, the Emergency Management Standard by EMAP.
Accreditation is open to all U.S. States, territories, and local government emergency management programs. Anyone can subscribe to receive standards and guidance materials.
